we took a little trip to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree this past week. highlights: breakfast every morning on the veranda at Korakia Pensione, swimming, Moorten's Botanical Garden, the Aerial Tramway in Palm Springs up to Mount San Jacinto where we could see the Salton Sea and even Mexico (i think), hiking in Joshua Tree, roaring fires in our fireplace at Twenty-nine Palms Inn, browsing for mid-century modern furniture

Lovely, I've been wanting to take a trip to Joshua Tree for a while. Did you see any cute trailer parks? I have a vintage 70's breadbox trailer to camp in.
